I'm a 19-year-old Water Safety Instructor based in Cumming, Georgia, with two years of hands-on teaching experience at the Cumming Aquatic Center. From the moment I dove into this role, I knew it was exactly where I was meant to be.
There's something indescribable about watching a nervous beginner take their first independent stroke and suddenly realize they're doing it. That moment never gets old for me. Every lesson, every milestone, every splash of confidence is why I show up to the pool every single day.
As a certified Water Safety Instructor, I embed water safety principles into every single lesson, not just swimming technique. Parents trust me because I take it seriously.
No two swimmers are the same. I tailor every lesson to the individual child's pace, comfort level, and goals, making sure every student feels supported and challenged.
I've seen shy, timid kids transform into fearless little fish who can't wait to get back in the water. That transformation is the most rewarding part of what I do.
Swimming isn't just a skill. It's a life skill and a lifelong joy. My goal is for every student to leave not just able to swim, but excited to swim.
